Ma lettre de motivation !

Dear Sir or Madam,

For my diploma, I am required to have work experience in a British company.

Your firm was recommended to me by the York Chamber of Commerce which very kindly answered my request for advice.

I am a student in the Higher Education department of the vocational training center called ISC2A in the Angouleme area. I am following a two year course to become a personal assistant. A month work experience period is a compulsory part of my course, and the report which I will write about my placement in your company will be presented orally for the examination.

I would be grateful if you would consider my application for work experience from 1 June to 29 June 2014. This would enable me to gain knowledge and experience of a British company and it use my English for practical purposes.

A placement in your company would be a marvelous opportunity for me and I am looking forward to your reply.
